Technical Description
This exhaust manifold and turbo stud nut kit is designed for the 2004-2005 Mazdaspeed Miata MSM fitted with the factory IHI VJ35 turbocharger.
The kit is used when servicing the exhaust manifold, turbo inlet flange, turbo outlet flange, or related mounting hardware around the factory MSM turbo setup. It is suitable for replacing old, stretched, corroded, seized, or damaged studs and nuts during turbo removal, manifold service, or exhaust leak repair work.
The studs are made from S35C heat-treated steel with a phosphate-coated finish and internal hex-tip design for easier installation in tight areas. Copper-plated top-lock flange nuts are included for the selected kit option.
